Aviation Week reports that iRobot is showing off PackBots equipped with a new "Head-Aimed Remote Viewer" (HARV). The soldier operating the PackBot simply turns his head to operate the cameras and other sensors (sound, night vision) on the PackBot. Pretty nifty. Basically turns the PackBot into a high-end telepresence robot. Reminds me of about 100 Sci-Fi movies. Here is the HARV guide from maker Chatten Associates (pdf).
Via The Register, which also noted the iRobot Warrior's grenade launching capabilities.
