CNET toured iRobot HQ and has a must-read, extensive article on the coming wave of automation that will drive expanded robot use by the military, as well as iRobot's focus on future research and elder care robots. Here is the link. Also of note, iRobot has posted a listing for a job opening aimed at creating an iPad app for the forthcoming elder care robot. This of course, brings up the intriguing possibility of having an iPad integrated on top of a robotic chassis.
